<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device that can stably drive a motor over a wide load range. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive device comprises: a motor 101 that drives a driven member; and control means 302, 303, 304, and 305 that perform acceleration driving of the motor based on a predetermined accelerating pattern with open-loop control from the beginning of the motor driving and drives the motor by feedback control according to the fact that the motor or the driven member reaches a predetermined speed.
