OPTICAL SCANNER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of reducing cost and size without reducing scanning accuracy.

SOLUTION: A deflector side scanning lens 2105B has a first emission optical surface corresponding to a light beam LBd and a second emission optical surface corresponding to a light beam LBc. An image surface side scanning lens 2106B has a first incident optical surface and the first emission optical surface corresponding to the light beam LBd, and a second incident optical surface and the second emission optical surface corresponding to the light beam LBc. Each emission optical surface of the deflector side scanning lens is a plane inclined at a center portion in a corresponding main scanning direction to a corresponding sub-scanning direction with a different angle of inclination to the corresponding sub-scanning direction according to a position of the corresponding main scanning direction. Each incident optical surface of the image surface side scanning lens is the plane with the different angle of inclination to the corresponding sub-scanning direction according to the position of the corresponding main scanning direction. Each emission optical surface has a strong optical power with respect to the corresponding sub-scanning direction.
