TOUCH PANEL SYSTEM HAVING MULTI-TOUCH DETECTION FUNCTION AND METHOD FOR DETECTING MULTI-TOUCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel system having a multi-touch detection function and a method for detecting multi-touch.

SOLUTION: The method for detecting multi-touch comprises steps of: scanning N first sense lines in a first axis direction of a touch panel and detecting at least one first sense line touched by at least one object based on the scanned result; inputting at least one high frequency signal to the at least one first sense line touched by the at least one object and inputting M low frequency signals to M second sense lines in a second axis direction of the touch panel; and receiving and detecting M feedback signals in the M second sense lines in the second axis direction and determining a position of at least one touch point based on the M feedback signals.
