<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method, and a computer program product for activating the backlight of a display for displaying a stereoscopic display content. <P>SOLUTION: In use, the state of the display which displays the whole image of the stereoscopic display content intended to be watched with only a first eye of a user is identified.
