PURPOSE: A video communication method and a device thereof are provided to control right and left reversion of a photographed image according to whether a symbol is included in the photographed image. CONSTITUTION: A controller(310) determines whether a symbol is included in a captured image. A database(330) pre-stores a symbol. The controller extracts a symbol area from the captured image. The controller compares a symbol included in the symbol area with a symbol pre-stored in the database. The controller determines whether a symbol is included in the captured image.
