The invention relates to electrical cleaning flue gases and can be used for reduction of harmful emissions in thermal power industry, cement, chemical, metallurgical and other branches of industry. An electrostatic precipitator comprises a body, packs of dust-precipitating plates of complex shape with ledges and depressions forming working hollows, and corona electrodes installed in the hollow centers, and a device for shaking the dust-precipitating plates and corona electrodes made in the form of cylindrical springs. It additionally comprises two power supplies connected in parallel, one of which is pulse and provides for increase of the leading edge of voltage pulses at a rate determined by the corresponding formula. At that the centers of dust-precipitating plates are on 0.2 of their diameter coated with titanium dioxide, corona electrodes are impregnated with barium oxide, and the ratio of the distance between the dust-precipitating plates and corona electrodes to the distance between the spring coils is in the range of 2.5-3. The electrostatic precipitator provides for increasing flue gases cleaning degree due to intensification of processes in the interelectrode space. |
