DISC CARTRIDGE LOADING APPARATUS FOR MINI-DISC PLAYER

A tray(12) of the front loading mini disc player is opened in left, right and front directions in the housing(10), and constructed for elastic vertical motion. A cartridge guide plate(16) guiding a disc cartridge(14) is installed at the rear sidewalls of the tray for direct horizontal motion. A cartridge pushing plate(20) pushing the disc cartridge(14) onto the turntable(18) is installed between the tray and the cartridge guide plate. A driving means(22) controlling the motion of the cartridge guide plate and the cartridge pushing plate is installed in the upper side of the housing. One end of the cartridge guide plate is connected to the cartridge pushing plate with a spring(74), and a stopper(76) is provided at a certain location to prevent the run-off of the cartridge guide plate.
