<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide package type compression equipment superior in silence. <P>SOLUTION: The package type compression equipment 1 includes a compressor body 4 and a duct 8 for connecting a suction flow passage of the compressor body 4 and an external part of an external facing 3, inside the external facing 3. The duct 8 is formed with an external opening 10 for opening in the external part of the external facing and an internal opening 9 communicating with the suction flow passage of the compressor body 4, and can fix an air filter 11 to the inside to cover the internal opening 9.
