<p>Disclosed in the present invention is a content delivery network, which network comprises a content locating system, a delivery configuration managing system and at least one content providing node; wherein the content providing node is used for acquiring and providing a content; the content locating system is used for determining a download location of a content requested to be downloaded and providing information of the download location so determined to a content download requesting party; and the delivery configuration managing system is used for maintaining and/or generating delivery configuration information of the content, determining a delivery configuration of the content to be downloaded according to the received information of the content requested to be downloaded, and notifying the same to the download requesting party. Further disclosed in the present invention is a method for content delivery on the basis of the content delivery network described above. The technical solution of the present invention supports various content delivery configurations with relatively low complexity and costs.</p> |
