<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for controlling a traveling direction of an earthwork machine with an earthwork tool. <P>SOLUTION: A method and a device comprise: determining a desired heading of a machine; determining an actual heading of the machine; determining a straight path, followed by the machine, as a function of the designed heading; determining a position of displacement of the actual heading from the desired heading; determining a desired tilt angle of a work tool as a function of the position of displacement; and controlling a tilt angle of the work tool to the desired tilt angle and steering the machine onto the straight path in response to the control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
