<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a biodegradable container that achieves efficient manufacture by high-speed heating through suitable impedance matching between a body to be heated and a high-frequency power source. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the biodegradable container includes a process of forming a container-shaped foamed base material layer by using a metal mold for foam molding comprising a pair of a male mold and a female mold which have heaters inside and can be fitted to each other, interposing a biodegradable material between the male mold and female mold preheated by the heaters up to predetermined temperature and fitting the male mold and female mold to each other, and heating the biodegradable material in the metal mold to foam and bake the biodegradable material. The process heating the biodegradable material in the metal mold includes a process of induction-heating the biodegradable material by applying a high frequency through the male mold and female mold, and the induction heating process uses a high-frequency oscillator, and an impedance matching circuit having a variable inductor, and includes increasing the inductance of the variable inductor at a first speed after maintaining the inductance at a constant value for a predetermined time after the start of the high-frequency application, and varying the inductance at a second speed faster than the first speed when an output current of the oscillator reaches a predetermined value so as to maintain the output current at the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
