<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide capped structured organic films, wherein at a macroscopic level a covalent organic framework is a film. <P>SOLUTION: The capped structured organic film is prepared by a process comprising: (a) preparing a liquid-containing reaction mixture comprising a plurality of molecular building blocks each comprising a segment and a number of Fg (functional groups) and capping unit molecules; (b) depositing the reaction mixture as a wet film; (c) promoting a change of the wet film to form a dry SOF (structured organic film) comprising a capping unit bonded in the SOF. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
