COOLING BATHS AND SUPERCONDUCTIVE CRITICAL CURRENT MEASURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling bath capable of preventing its deterioration and breakage by reducing stress caused by thermal expansion/contraction due to a temperature change and to provide a superconductive critical current measuring device that uses the cooling bath for cooling a superconductive wire.

SOLUTION: A cooling bath 20 consists of a container part 21 for containing a coolant 4 and a substantially plate-like base part 22 that is disposed on the undersurface of the container part 21 and on a floor so as to level the bottom surface of the container part 21. This cooling bath includes fixing means 6 for fixing the container part 21 to the base part 22 and slide means 7 that is placed to allow the container part to move horizontally and freely. The container part 21 and the base part 22 are connected by at least one or more fixing means 6 and at least one or more slide means 7.
