PURPOSE: A tire mounting system for a vehicle manufacturing line and a mounting method thereof are provided to maximize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs by mechanizing and automating entire vehicle manufacturing line. CONSTITUTION: A tire mounting system(102) for a vehicle manufacturing line comprises a nut supply device(106), a tire supply device(110), and a controller(111). The nut supply device comprises a nut alignment unit(103) and a nut supply unit(105). The nut alignment unit aligns nuts supplying according to car models. The nut supply unit supplies the nuts supplying from the nut alignment unit to a fastener(104). The tire supply device comprises a tire alignment unit(107), a tire supply unit(108), and a tire retainer(109). The tire alignment unit aligns supplied tires(101) according to car models. The tires aligning in the tire alignment unit according to car models are coupled with wheel bolts by the tire supply unit. The tire retainer prevents movement until the tire supplying to the wheel bolt is coupled. The controller recognizes information of vehicles through a main controller(112) controlling a manufacturing line to control size and number of the nut, size and supply time of the tire according to a PCD of a manufacturing vehicle.
