The system has a passenger train, with several terminals arranged in the vehicles. A bus is formed from flame restraining material for the transmission of information. The terminals are attached to the bus (3) over a fire-protected switch (4) and associated equipment automatically separates from the bus in case of a fire. The switch is arranged within a housing (4a), and the cables of the bus (3), fire alarm (11) and the associated equipment are protected by a heatproof material.
