A liquid crystal display device is provided to form dummy pixels of a non-display area in a stair shape structure at portions corresponding to corners of sealant, thereby preventing overlapping between the sealant and pixels and improving reliability of the liquid crystal display device. A liquid crystal display device includes a first display panel such as a thin film transistor array panel(100) formed with a plurality of pixels and dummy pixels, a second display panel such as a common electrode display panel(200) facing the first display panel, and a sealant(311) joining the first and second display panels together, wherein the sealant is in the curved line shape at corners. The dummy pixels are surrounded by the sealant and in the stair shape structure at portions adjacent to the corners of the sealant. |
