PURPOSE: An automated teller machine is provided to efficiently separate many media which is put into an input part. CONSTITUTION: Guide units(30,32) transfer a plurality of media which is put into. A friction unit(24) applies a frictional force to a side of the media which are carried with the guide units. A separating unit(34) separates the plurality of the media, which is carried with the guide units, into each piece and transfers.
