PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light control suspension enabling manufacture of a light control suspension having a target concentration by reproducibly and accurately determining particle concentration in a light control particle dispersion fluid and suppressing the variation of particle concentration in the light control suspension.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a light control suspension comprises: a step of preparing a light control particle dispersion fluid comprising light control particles dispersed in a dispersion medium; a step of measuring density of the light control particle dispersion fluid; a step of calculating concentration of the light control particle dispersion fluid based on the measured density; and a step of determining concentration of the light control suspension obtained from the light control particle dispersion fluid and a polymer dispersant based on the calculated concentration of the light control particle dispersion fluid to prepare the light control suspension having the determined concentration.
