<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of resource when executing multimedia processing with multiple chains. <P>SOLUTION: A multimedia processing system relating to the present invention comprises: a storage unit for storing multiple components, first definition information defining a first chain that is a combination of multiple components, second definition information defining a second chain and first shared information defining a component that is subject to sharing of resource between the first and second chains; and a control unit for executing predetermined multimedia processing by forming a chain after allocating a resource to the multiple components stored in the storage unit. When receiving an instruction to form the second chain after forming the first chain, the control unit forms the second chain by using a resource, in common with the first chain, that is allocated to the component defined by the first shared information among the components defined by the second definition information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
