PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail position measuring technology that enables each rail position to be measured on the basis of a reference.

SOLUTION: A rail position measuring apparatus includes: two displacement sensors for measuring a distance to a reference rail and a distance to an opposite-side rail; a reference position measuring sensor for taking an image of a reference and acquiring the taken image as positional information; and a measurement truck on which the displacement sensors and the reference position measuring sensor are mounted and fixed. A distance from the reference to the rail is measured by using the positional information relating to the reference, which is obtained by the reference position measuring sensor, and the distance to the rail, which is obtained by the displacement sensors.
