<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient compression operation while preventing overheating of a refrigerant and enhance the reliability by preventing the occurrence of liquid compression and overheating of an electric motor section and a compression mechanism section according to the condition of a refrigerating cycle. <P>SOLUTION: In a hermetic compressor 200, the electric motor section 220 and the compression mechanism section 300 driven by the electric motor section 220 are contained in a sealed container 210, and pressure in the internal space of the sealed container 210 provides suction pressure. The hermetic compressor includes: a first refrigerant flow passage 106 leading the refrigerant to the compression mechanism section 300 via the internal space of the sealed container 210; a second refrigerant flow passage 107 leading the refrigerant to the compression mechanism section 300 without passing through the internal space of the sealed container 210; and a first flow regulating valve 110 and a second flow regulating valve flow passage 111, which control a refrigerant flow rate to the first refrigerant flow passage 106 and the second refrigerant flow passage 107. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
