<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of reducing the thickness while ensuring sufficient hardness with an inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: A card connector comprises: a resin housing 2 on which an insertion opening 4 for a card 46 is formed, and in which a connection terminal 11 connected to the card 46 is embedded; a slide member 6 which slides in the housing 2 together with the card 46 in an insertion direction of the card 46; an ejection spring 7 which biases the slide member 6 toward an ejection direction of the card 46; and lock mechanisms 23 and 24 which lock the slide member 6 in the housing 2 at an attachment position of the card 46 against a biasing force of the ejection spring 7.
