HOUSING, METHOD FOR FORMING COATING FILM, ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing which has a base and a coating film, that exhibits excellent adhesiveness to a substrate even when polylactic acid is applied to materials of both of the substrate and the coating film and that has high transparency and hardness, and which has low environmental loads and high reliability, and to provide electronic equipment.

SOLUTION: Both of the substrate 1 of the housing and the coating film 10 are formed from a material including the polylactic acid. The content of the polylactic acid in an interfacial part between the coating film 10 and the substrate 1 is made different from that of the polylactic acid in the surface part of the coating film 10. The content of the former is 70-90% of the content of the polylactic acid in the substrate 1 and the content of the latter is ≥50% and <70% thereof.
