PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lamp device which is advantageous in enhancing designability at light emission time, and which can easily confirm whether or not a brake lamp and a tail lamp are lighted on.SOLUTION: An upper member 20 covers above a front part 1602 of a light guide part 16 from the outside in a vehicle width direction, and opens below the front part 1602. When a light source 18 is lighted on at brake operation time, in a side surface rear part of a vehicle body 2, the light leaked from the light guide part 16 is radiated toward the vehicle body 2 lateral side via an outer lens 14 by an inclined surface part 2202. Thus, red light is visually recognized as indirect light from the place on the lateral side of the vehicle body 2 or on an oblique front of the vehicle body 2. Therefore, light is not radiated directly toward the front from the vehicle lateral surface, and the indirect light can be emitted in the vehicle lateral surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
