PURPOSE: A ship for pole regions is provided to properly maintain the temperature and pressure of an inner space and moon pool. CONSTITUTION: A ship for pole regions comprises a derrick(110), a moon pool(120), and an air ventilating member. The derrick forms the space which is isolated from external air. The moon pool is located on a lower part of a derrick to be connected with the derrick and sealed from the external air. The air ventilating member communicates the internal space of the derrick or moon pool with outside space. The air condition of the internal space is controlled to be maintained in a specified range by the air ventilating member.
