<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescent illuminating device capable of reducing a manufacturing cost by improving a manufacturing efficiency of the organic electroluminescent illuminating device. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent illuminating device comprises: a pair of electrode layers including a translucent electrode layer 2 provided on a translucent substrate 1; an organic layer 3 that is held by the pair of the electrode layers and includes an organic electroluminescent material; a light-shielding auxiliary electrode 5 that is provided on the translucent electrode layer so as to be in contact with a part of the translucent electrode layer; and an insulating film 5e coating the auxiliary electrode 5. This method forms the insulating film 5e with a resist used in a photolithography step of an auxiliary electrode 5 formation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
