<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate analysis of looming conditions that affect evaluation items. <P>SOLUTION: A central control device 2 searches for data that matches a woven fabric specification when a characteristic value for the woven fabric specification is input into a data input device 9. If data matching the specification exists, looming-condition extraction means 11 extracts plural pieces of specification-matching data and displays the data on a display device 8. Upon a selected evaluation item being specified, the central control device 2 causes analysis means 12 to perform a multivariate analysis. A coefficient given to each looming condition in a multiple regression expression obtained by the multivariate analysis represents a degree of contribution to the selected evaluation item, making it possible to determine that a looming condition with a large coefficient value is a factor having a large influence on the selected evaluation item. Thus, a looming condition with a large coefficient value is selected and displayed on the display device 8. Further, for the selected looming condition, the characteristic value of a looming condition associated with the best thread-breaking ratio can be determined as the optimal value, and the characteristic value is displayed on the display device 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
