SILICA GLASS CRUCIBLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SILICON INGOT

PURPOSE: A silica glass crucible and a method for manufacturing a silicon ingot are provided to control a mirror-face to be exposed inside a brown ring by accelerating crystallization velocity at the central part of the brown ring. CONSTITUTION: A wall(3) of a silica glass crucible comprises a corner part(32), a sidewall part(31) of a cylindrical shape, and a bottom part(33) of a bowl shape. The corner part connects the sidewall part and the bottom part. The wall comprises mineralizing agent and a silica glass layer from inner side to outer side. The mineralizing agent is arranged in the inner surface of the silica glass crucible. The mineralizing agent comprises one or more atoms selected from Ca or Fe.
