PURPOSE: A gear type variable force device of weight training machine is provided to enable a user to easily change the weight of a weight. CONSTITUTION: A gear type variable force device of weight training machine comprises: a housing(100) having a pair of sidewalls and exterior wall interlinking the sidewalls; a first gear part(200) including a first shaft having a plurality of first spur gears; a second gear(300) which is combined with the first shaft; a support which is combined with one side of the sliding pipe; and a third shaft which is axis-connected to the support; a rotation adjustment bar in which a slot hole is formed; a bearing housing part in which a bearing is equipped; and a switch part(400).
