PURPOSE: A method for reducing air activation in a beam target room is provided to reduce an emitted air volume by minimizing an empty space in a facility. CONSTITUTION: A shielding block(230) consisting of a polymer based material is provided. The shielding block is arranged in the empty space of a beam target room(200). The shielding block installed in the beam target room is removed. A work space is formed in the beam target room. The polymer based material is polyethylene.
