<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus designed for making density variation in a bidirectional recording inconspicuous even when a recording head experiences a temperature rise exceeding a controllable range of PWM discharge amount during a record scanning. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus is configured to set a target discharge amount range for recording the areas higher than a target discharge amount range for recording the entire image when the recording head temperature is expected to exceed the controllable upper limit temperature of PWM control. With this configuration, a table for realizing the target discharge amount range can be prepared even if the recording head temperature exceeds the controllable upper limit temperature, and thus, an actual PWM controllable upper limit temperature can be extended to an even wider range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
