<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute information with high usefulness according to a user's current situation in a guide information selection system using a route guidance device. <P>SOLUTION: A server 200 manages information which can be distributed to a user (guide information) for each category. A priority and an evaluation value to be fixed according to a movement purpose and a movement state are imparted as recommendation data to each category. The user refers to the recommendation data based on the movement purpose and the movement state in the process of route guidance to determine the evaluation value in each category.
