<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device that embroiders meat with a more preferable color by keeping color-rendering and enhancing color saturation of the meat when the illumination device is used for meat illumination. <P>SOLUTION: An illumination device 4 has a solid light emitting element for emitting white light, and a fluorescent material. The fluorescent material is excited by light which is contained in the white light and whose wavelengths are not more than 500 nm, and converts the light to red light having a peak wavelength within a wavelength range of 630 to 680 nm. Accordingly, when the illumination device 4 is used to illuminate meat 3, the meat 3 can be illuminated by white light, and the color-rendering can be maintained. Furthermore, the red light component in the illumination light can be increased, so that the redness of the meat 3 can be emphasized and the color saturation of the meat 3 can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
