<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a foreign matter for a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device includes: a voltage power supply outputting an AC signal; a power transmission coil receiving the AC signal and generating a magnetic field; and a first measuring portion measuring a first reflection factor of the AC signal. A power reception device includes a power reception coil generating AC current by the magnetic field, and a second measuring portion measuring a second reflection factor of the AC signal. A foreign matter detecting portion detects the foreign matter between the power transmission coil and the power reception coil by using a frequency with which the first reflection factor becomes minimum and a frequency with which the second reflection factor becomes minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
