PURPOSE: A bridge construction method is provided to effectively reduce the cross section of a column by preventing bending moment from being transferred to the column even if tension is applied to the upper structure of a bridge. CONSTITUTION: A bridge construction method is as follows. First and second columns(100,200) are arranged on the ground(G). Temporary bents are installed outside the first and second columns. An upper structure(400) of a bridge is placed on the temporary bents. Tension is applied to the upper structure of the bridge. The upper structure, in which tension is applied, is coupled to the first and second columns. The temporary bents are removed. |
