<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light scanning optical device capable of reducing a relative difference of signal detection precision between a plurality of synchronization detection means by eliminating to the extent possible the influence of thermal strain of weld lines on a housing during the process of resin formation. <P>SOLUTION: This light scanning optical device deflects light beams emitted from two pairs of light source sections, composed of light sources 1y, 1m and light sources 1c, 1k, at the same time with different reflection surfaces 5a, 5b of a single rotation polygon mirror 5, and makes the light beams provide images respectively on different photoreceptors. Weld lines 23a to 23d generated during a process of resin formation are formed on a flat section 21, which is the bottom surface of a housing 20. Synchronization detection sensors 15y, 15k for outputting synchronization signals in the main scanning direction are disposed within an area 24a surrounded by the weld lines 23a, 23b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
