<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and an apparatus of storage and retrieval of data capable of quickly responding to a changing request. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes at least one magnetic storage medium, and a reconfigurable logic device, an FPGA coupled to the at least one magnetic storage medium, is constituted so as to read continuous streams of target data from the FPGA, and is constituted according to a desire using a template or so as to match a type of retrieval and the data to be retrieved. The reconfigurable logic device is constituted so as to receive at least one retrieval reference of the shape of a data key, and when the target data is read from the at least one magnetic storage medium, to determine match between the target data and the data key. The device and a method include: exact match retrieval; approximate match retrieval; sequence match retrieval; image match retrieval; and data reduction retrieval, however, can execute various kinds of retrieval to the target data without being restricted by them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
