<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress image defects due to image blur by reducing the rotating speed variation of an intermediate transfer body occurring when an electrification member is brought into contact with the intermediate transfer body. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes an electrification member for electrifying toner remaining on an intermediate transfer belt after coming into contact with an intermediate transfer body to be transferred. In the case where the moving speed generated when the electrification member comes into contact with the intermediate transfer body is divided into a component in parallel and a component perpendicular to the rotation direction of the intermediate transfer body at a position where the electrification member comes into contact with the intermediate transfer body, the moving speed of the parallel component must be nearly equal to the rotating speed of the intermediate transfer body when the electrification member comes into contact with the intermediate transfer body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
