PURPOSE: A jig device for tapping a lathe is provided to improve product quality and to make work conveniently by keeping tap straightness automatically. CONSTITUTION: A jig device for tapping a lathe comprises a tap coupling part(20), a fixing part(30), and a hinge bar. A tap(10) is fixed in the tap coupling part. The fixing part in which a straightness holding part for keeping straightness of the tap coupling part is installed is coupled to a main spindle of a tailstock. The hinge bar is installed between the tap coupling part and the fixing part and makes the tap coupling part and the fixing part coupled by a hinge(38).
