PURPOSE: A monitoring device for vehicle is provided to secure a stable view filed by exposing a in-vehicle camera to outside by moving a rod. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring device comprises an actuating unit(10), a rod(20), a power transmission assembly(30), a camera assembly(40), and a position sensor(60). The actuating unit generates power. The rod reciprocates between starting and finishing points. The power transmission assembly transfers the power to the rod. The camera assembly is installed on one end of the rod. The position sensor recognizes location information of the rod.
