METHOD FOR PRODUCING CARBON-CONTAINING MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon-containing monolithic refractory excellent in explosion resistance although suppressing a construction water amount and having low porosity and a dense structure.

SOLUTION: The carbon-containing monolithic refractory using 3-15 mass% of a carbon black raw material A having a specific surface area of 5-35 m2/g and a carbon black raw material B having a DBP (dibutyl phthalate) oil absorption amount of 80 mL/100 g or more and having a blending ratio (B/A) of the carbon black raw material B to the carbon black raw material A of 0.05-0.5 is produced.
