PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Cel48A cellulase derived from Clostridium josui and a host and method for producing the same.

SOLUTION: A recombinant genus Bacillus bacterium including a Cel48A cellulase gene derived from Clostridium josui, the method for producing Cel48A cellulase derived from Clostridium josui characterized by using the recombinant genus Bacillus bacterium, and Cel48A cellulase derived from Clostridium josui produced by the method for production are provided.
