<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of easily adjusting the position of each member of a modulation unit. <P>SOLUTION: The projector comprises a plurality of reflection light modulating devices 4 modulating each of a plurality of color lights according to image information, a plurality of reflection polarization plates 3 polarizing and separating a light flux irradiated to the reflection light modulating devices 4 and a light flux modulated by the reflection light modulating devices 4; and a polarization plate 5 through which polarization light having a polarization direction generally same as the polarization direction modulated by the reflection light modulating devices 4 and reflected by the reflection polarization plates 3 passes. The projector also comprises a reflection polarization plate adjusting member 31 holding the reflection polarization plate 3, and a mounting member 7 having three side surfaces supporting the reflection light modulating devices 4 and the polarization plate 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
