<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fiber strand wire of an optical fiber cable exposed by peeling an outer covering from being bent at a curvature radius smaller than the curvature radius of the fiber strand wire. <P>SOLUTION: In a bend prevention device for an optical fiber cable configured so that the fiber strand wire 11 of the optical fiber cable 10 exposed by peeling the outer covering is prevented from being bent at a curvature radius smaller than the smallest curvature radius of the fiber strand wire 11, the fiber strand wire 11 is extended along a straight member 1 so as to be bent following the flexure of the straight member 1, the straight member 1 being composed so as to be flexed at a curvature radius larger than the smallest curvature radius of the fiber strand wire 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
