<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling unit excellent in keeping heat of a heat-generating light-mitting element uniform. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling unit for cooling a plurality of white LEDs which are a part of liquid crystal display unit, is provided with a spreader 1 as a heat conducting member with the plurality of white LEDs mounted on the same, and second through fourth heat pipes 12, 13, 14 which make heat connection between the spreader 1 and a heat sink 10 arranged on a case side of the liquid crystal display unit. Thereby, the heat of the white LEDs is made uniform, and temperature increase causing performance deterioration of the white LEDs can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
