Described is a process for obtaining briquettes with non-flat surfaces from aluminium recycled cans, the process comprises the following steps: (a) forming bales of aluminium recycled cans; (b) feeding said bales in a separator rotor for obtaining pieces of aluminium of from about 3 mm to about 12 mm; (c) removing the lacquer by applying a temperature of from about 15°C to about 400°C, where the organic compounds are removed; (d) binding the material resulting from the step (c) within a briquette machine; (e) exerting pressure and displacing the material so as to provide a substantially non-flat shape to the end portions of the formed briquette; (f) expelling the aluminium briquette that was formed; and (g) retracting the same so as to fill the mould portion again.
