<p>The invention relates to a food processor (1) comprising a coupling point (3) for coupling a processing tool, a cover (5), which is mounted on the housing (2) of the food processor (1) so that it can pivot from a closed position, in which it covers the coupling point (3), into an open position, in which the coupling point (3) is exposed in order to couple the processing tool and a locking unit for locking the cover (5) in the closed position. The locking unit comprises a release button (6), which when actuated is displaced from an idle position into a release position in order to deactivate the lock, thus permitting the cover (5) to be pivoted into the open position. The release button (6) is situated on the cover (5). The invention allows a food processor (1) to be simply equipped with a locking unit. In addition the claimed food processor (1) is intuitive to use.</p> |
