<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food washing apparatus cooping with a case where a washed object is a food having large gravity to eliminate the risk of being discharged when being washed; that reduces manufacturing cost and cleaning time by eliminating a screen cylinder part required in the past while improving the operability by using a washing basket. <P>SOLUTION: The food washing apparatus includes: a washing water tank 2; a filtaration water tank 7; a pressurized water pipe 51 which is laid between a circulation pump 8 disposed in the filtaration water tank and a bottom chamber 29 formed in the washing water tank; a jetting port 55 opened to upward at an edge of the pressurized water pipe; a bubble-generating device 4 for aeration disposed in a middle of the pressurized water pipe; and the washing basket 9.
