<p>This invention describes a method for the treatment of a wood element comprising the steps of subjecting said wood to heating by electromagnetic radiation, removing natural fluids from the wood, transferring said wood to a preparation tank, performing a preparation process comprising depressurizing the preparation tank to establish a vacuum, supplying a treatment fluid to the preparation tank, pressurizing the preparation tank. Furthermore, an apparatus for the heating of wood by electromagnetic radiation along with a system capable of preparing wood is de- scribed.</p> |
