Provided is a composition comprising an isolated antibody or functional fragment thereof, comprising an antigen-binding region that specifically binds an epitope in a human DKK1 polypeptide, wherein the isolated antibody or functional fragment thereof comprises a heavy chain and light chain comprising six CDRs. The composition can be used to treat various cancers and myelomas and diabetes, among other diseases.
